Refund policy
Updated 16 October 2026 · Applies to Workbench Pro
Try first: Workbench Free includes every feature for one project, so you can check that it works with your Mac and AI tools before buying Pro. Pro also starts with a 7-day free trial: cancel in the Polar customer portal before it ends and you won’t be charged.
14-day refund
If Workbench Pro isn’t right for you, ask for a refund within 14 days of your first payment, or of a renewal payment, and we’ll refund that payment in full. No questions asked.
How to ask
- Email support@req2code.com from the address you used to buy, and include your order number if available. Do not send your licence key, passwords or payment-card details.
- Or reply to your Polar receipt.
We aim to process refund requests through Polar, our merchant of record, within 5 working days. This is a processing target, not a guarantee of when the money will reach your account; your bank may take longer to show it.
What happens next
- When we process your refund, we’ll also cancel your Pro subscription and revoke its licence.
- Workbench goes back to Free.
- Your existing projects and data remain accessible and are not deleted because of the refund. Free limits creation of additional projects; archived projects still count toward that limit.
After 14 days
You can cancel any time in the Polar customer portal, which you can open from Workbench’s licence settings (Manage Purchases). Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and you won’t be charged again. We may still refund later payments at our discretion, for example after a billing error or an outage that stopped you using Pro.
Your legal rights
This policy is in addition to any rights you have under consumer law where you live.
